day eleven (lisa)

this is my husband and daughter jumping from one rock to another while we were hiking. i caught them right in mid-air which should have made for a very cool photo. but it doesn't capture things the way i would have liked. not cutting off their heads would have been a good start. but also maybe shooting from a lower angle, so that the space below their feet was highlighted better? or just making sure the background was not distracting your view from the fact that their feet are off the ground? i would love to hear thoughts on this one.

  1. I'm kind of a slave to trial-and-error, so I don't have much to recommend. Your ideas in your caption sound good to me, though! I think shooting from even lower down, and maybe with the camera tilted might have heightened the free-spirited, wacky feel. I really like Emma's position - she really got some height on that jump!
